Privacy Policy

Vector ("the app") is a Coordinate Remote Viewing practice app for entertainment and education. This policy describes what data the app handles, what leaves your device, and why.

The Short Version

Your practice stays private. Everything you write or draw in a session — transcripts, sketches, ideograms, notes, scores — is stored only on your device and is never uploaded. The app does not require an account and does not sell data.

Two kinds of data do leave the device: subscription records, so your membership works, and, if enabled, anonymous usage counts, so we can see where people get stuck. Neither includes anything you wrote or drew.

Session Data

Transcripts, sketches, ideograms, scores, learning progress and settings are stored locally on your device. They are not transmitted to us or anyone else. Deleting the app, or using Settings → Clear session history, removes them.

Subscriptions

Purchases are made through Apple using your Apple ID. We never see your payment details; Apple's handling of them is covered by Apple's Privacy Policy.

To confirm which plan is active and keep it active across reinstalls and devices, the app uses RevenueCat, a subscription management service that acts as our data processor. RevenueCat receives:

• Your App Store purchase receipt and subscription status (which plan, when it started, when it renews or expires)
• An anonymous customer identifier generated by the app, plus Apple's identifier for vendors (IDFV)
• Basic device and app information (device model, iOS version, app version, IP address at the time of the request)

RevenueCat uses this only to validate purchases and report subscription status back to the app. It is not linked to your name, email or any account, and it is not used for advertising or cross-app tracking. See the RevenueCat Privacy Policy.

Usage Analytics

The app may collect anonymous usage analytics through PostHog to understand which screens and steps people use and where they stop. When active, this sends events such as "onboarding step completed," "paywall viewed" or "session reached stage three," together with an anonymous, randomly generated identifier and basic device and app information.

• It never includes your transcripts, sketches, notes, or the targets you viewed.
• It is not linked to your identity and is not used for advertising or cross-app tracking.
• No location is collected.
• You can turn it off at any time in Settings → Share usage data. When the switch is off, nothing is sent.

If this feature is not enabled in your version of the app, the switch does not appear and no analytics are sent.

Content Fetched From the Internet

• Target photos and summaries come from Wikipedia's public API at reveal time. Those requests go directly to Wikimedia servers under the Wikimedia Privacy Policy. No personal identifiers are attached by the app.
• Maps on the reveal screen are rendered by Apple Maps on-device.
• Sharing a session record uses the iOS share sheet; where the image goes is your choice.

What We Don't Do

• No advertising, and no advertising identifiers (IDFA)
• No cross-app tracking, so the app never shows an App Tracking Transparency prompt
• No location access — coordinates in the app describe public landmarks, never you
• No contacts, camera, microphone, or photo library access
• No accounts, and no collection of names, emails, or other contact details

Data Deletion

Session data lives only on your device; deleting the app deletes it. Subscription records held by RevenueCat are tied to an anonymous identifier and are retained as long as needed to honour your subscription. To have them deleted, email us with the "Manage subscription" details from Settings and we will make the request to RevenueCat. Subscriptions themselves are managed or cancelled in your Apple ID subscription settings.

Children

Vector is not directed at children under 13.

Changes

If a future version adds any further data collection, this policy will be updated first and the app will disclose it before enabling.
