Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Odyssey by Phantom Labs ("we," "our," or "us"), an AI-powered life coaching application. By creating an account or using Odyssey, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. Description of Service

Odyssey is an AI-powered life coaching application that helps you set goals, track progress, and receive personalized guidance through an AI coach. Odyssey is designed for general personal development and wellbeing support.

Odyssey is not a substitute for professional therapy, counseling, medical treatment, financial advice, or legal counsel. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis or emergency, please contact a licensed professional or emergency services immediately.

2. Account Registration

• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account
• You are responsible for providing accurate information during signup
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• You may not create more than one account per person
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account

3. Subscription Terms

Pricing & Billing

• Odyssey requires a paid subscription for full access to coaching features
• Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store as in-app purchases
• Prices are displayed in the app before purchase and may vary by region

Auto-Renewal

• Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel
• You will be charged the current subscription price at renewal
• Apple will charge your payment method on file within 24 hours before the end of the current billing period

Free Trials

• If a free trial is offered, it will automatically convert to a paid subscription at the end of the trial period unless you cancel beforehand
• Unused portions of a free trial are forfeited when you purchase a subscription

Cancellation & Refunds

• You can cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple App Store account settings
• After cancellation, you will retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period
• No partial refunds are provided for unused time within a billing period
• Refund requests are handled by Apple in accordance with their refund policies

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Odyssey to:

• Harass, threaten, or abuse other people
• Engage in or promote illegal activity
• Attempt to manipulate, jailbreak, or circumvent the AI coach's guidelines or safety measures
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the application
• Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract data from the service
• Interfere with or disrupt the service's infrastructure or other users' access
• Use the service for any commercial purpose without our written consent

5. AI Coaching Disclaimer

• Odyssey's AI coach is not a licensed therapist, counselor, doctor, financial advisor, or attorney
• AI-generated responses are for general personal development purposes only and should not be treated as professional advice
• The AI may occasionally produce inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate responses
• You are solely responsible for the decisions you make based on interactions with the AI coach
• If you are in crisis or need professional help, please contact a qualified professional

6. Intellectual Property

• Odyssey, its design, features, and branding are owned by Phantom Labs and protected by applicable intellectual property laws
• You retain ownership of the content you create within the app (goals, reflections, messages, etc.)
• By using the service, you grant us a limited license to process your content as needed to provide the coaching experience

7. Termination

• You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at the email below
• We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in activity that harms the service or other users
• Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately
• We will delete all data associated with a terminated account within 30 days, in accordance with our Privacy Policy

8. Limitation of Liability

• Odyssey is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied
• We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI responses will be accurate or suitable for your situation
• To the maximum extent permitted by law, Phantom Labs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service
• Our total liability for any claim related to the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or by email. Your continued use of Odyssey after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
